How we work with specialists
One call. The right specialist. Sorted.
We're Liverpool End of Tenancy Cleaning. Checkout cleaning is our day job, but ten years working Liverpool's rentals has put us shoulder to shoulder with the people who take on the cleaning we leave alone. Whether it's post-build, hoarder, biohazard, fire damage, severe mould or post-pest work, anywhere from the city centre out across Merseyside, we'll point you to the partner who does it. A single call, the right hands on the job, and no ringing round.
How it works
Three steps. No runaround.
1
Tell us what's happened
Fill in the short form, drop in a photo or two, and add whatever context helps. The fuller the picture, the sharper the match we can make.
2
We call within the hour
Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. We hear you out, put a couple of questions your way, and settle on the specialist who fits.
3
The specialist quotes
A price normally reaches you within a day of our call. From that point the dates, the cost and the work sit with them.
Post-build
Post-build cleaning.
What it is. Once the builders, joiners and decorators pack up, what stays is fine construction dust. It clings to every surface and works its way into vents, sockets and rails. A normal clean can't lift it. The post-build kit the specialist brings is built for exactly that.
When you'd need this. The extension is finished, the loft conversion is done, the new kitchen is in, a refurbishment has wrapped, or a new build is ready to hand over. Any job where trades and their dust have lived in the space for weeks.
What the specialist does. HEPA-filtered vacuuming room by room. Every surface and fitting wiped by hand. Builder's marks lifted off glass, tiles and worktops. Windows done inside and out. The whole place sanitised before the keys change hands.
Hoarder
Hoarder cleaning.
What it is. Emptying and deep-cleaning a home where possessions, waste or clutter have piled up across months or years. It often comes after a death in the family, an eviction, or someone moving into supported care.
When you'd need this. A property has come to you to clear before it goes on the market. A tenant has moved out of your rental and left it in this state. You're helping a relative work through a clear-out. It's handled quietly, with no judgement.
What the specialist does. Items sorted, bagged and taken away by the categories you agree, keep, donate or dispose. Once the rooms are clear, every surface gets a heavy-duty clean. Odour treatment where it's called for. A skip or waste collection lined up for you so you're not chasing it.
Biohazard
Biohazard cleaning.
What it is. Cleaning up after blood, bodily fluids, decomposition, sewage or similar contamination. The work calls for PPE, hospital-grade chemicals, and disposal that follows hazardous-waste rules to the letter.
When you'd need this. A death has occurred in the home, an unattended one especially. There's been a serious accident. Police have released a scene. Sewage has flooded a room or a burst pipe has left an area contaminated.
What the specialist does. Cleaning carried out in full PPE with hospital-grade chemicals. Contaminated materials taken out, carpets and soft furnishings, at times plasterboard or floorboards too. Waste routed through regulated channels. A certificate of cleanliness issued for an insurer, a sale or landlord records.
Fire damage
Fire damage cleaning.
What it is. Cleaning up smoke, soot and heat damage left by a fire, whether it started at the hob, in a fault in the wiring, from a candle or through arson. Smoke residue soaks into fabrics, carpets, walls, ceilings, ductwork and the space behind every fitting. An ordinary clean can't reach it. The right kit and chemistry can.
When you'd need this. Any fire that left soot, staining or a lingering smell counts, however contained it was. Insurers will often insist on certified specialist cleaning rather than a domestic one. It applies too when smoke has drifted in from a fire next door.
What the specialist does. Soot and smoke residue taken off every surface using degreasers and dry-sponge methods. Ozone or hydroxyl treatment to break the smell down at molecular level. HVAC and vents cleaned so the smell can't creep back. Carpets and soft furnishings treated. Most partners will also handle the insurance liaison for you.
Severe mould
Severe mould removal.
What it is. Dealing with mould that has got out of hand, black mould, structural mould, growth spread over whole walls or ceilings. A regular checkout clean copes with light surface spotting. This is for when it's taken hold, sunk into the plaster, or become a health worry. Liverpool's older terraced and rented stock is prone to it.
When you'd need this. Heavy black mould in a bathroom, bedroom or kitchen. Growth on plasterboard or hidden behind furniture. Mould that returns no matter how often it's wiped off. A home hit by a leak, a flood or ongoing condensation. Anywhere a GP or the HSE has raised a health flag.
What the specialist does. The mould identified first, since different types need different treatment. HEPA-filtered air scrubbing while the work goes on. Affected surfaces treated with antifungal. Mould-damaged materials stripped out where remediation is needed, plasterboard, sealant, at times flooring. A look at the root cause so it doesn't simply grow back.
Post-pest
Cleaning after pest control.
What it is. Deep cleaning once a pest infestation has been treated, be it rats, mice, cockroaches, fleas or bedbugs. Pest control does the exterminating. We hand you to specialists who deal with what's left behind: droppings, urine, tainted surfaces, food residue and soft furnishings.
When you'd need this. Any time pest control has been in. It matters most with rats and mice, where urine contamination is a genuine biohazard, with cockroaches, whose allergens and bacteria travel through the home, and with bedbugs, where heat treatment and a deep clean together clear the eggs.
What the specialist does. Droppings, nesting material and contaminated insulation cleared out. Every affected surface sanitised with industrial-grade chemicals, inside cupboards, behind appliances, under floorboards where it's needed. Work squared with the pest control firm so the home is confirmed clear before anyone moves back in. Documentation ready for a landlord's insurer.
Why use us as the introducer
One conversation instead of three.
We've spent ten years in the Liverpool cleaning trade. We know which specialists do the work properly, which ones bring the right kit, which ones turn up on time, and which ones handle insurance jobs cleanly. We've sent these partners work for years.
When you call us, you get one conversation instead of three. We listen to what's happened, work out which specialist fits, and make the introduction. You skip the calling around, the price-shopping, and the "do you handle that?" runaround. The specialist picks up the phone knowing what the job is.
It costs you nothing. We make our money from the introduction, not from you. The price you pay the specialist is the price they quote you. We do not add a markup.
If you'd rather find a specialist yourself, fair enough. But if you want to make one call and have the rest sorted, that's what we do.
FAQ
Specialist cleaning FAQs
Common questions about how we connect Liverpool customers with specialist cleaners.
Do you take on these specialist jobs yourselves?
We don't. Checkout cleaning is our line of work. For the harder categories (post-build, hoarder, biohazard, fire damage, severe mould, post-pest), we put you in touch with vetted Liverpool specialists we've sent work to for years.
Is there a fee for the introduction?
None. Our side is paid by the specialist for sending the work their way, so you pay nothing to us. Whatever the specialist quotes is what you pay, and we don't add a penny on top.
How fast will I hear from a specialist?
Send the form Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, and we're on the phone to you inside the hour. Send it any other time and we'll ring by 9am on the next working day. From there the specialist tends to have a quote to you within 24 hours.
Can the specialists take on insurance work?
They can, and they do it often, fire damage and biohazard jobs in particular. Our Liverpool partners produce the paperwork insurers expect and will deal with your insurer for you where that helps.
What happens if the quote is more than I want to pay?
You're free to say no. Sending the form ties you to nothing. We simply make the connection and the rest is your call. If the figure doesn't sit right, we can point you to a different specialist, or you're welcome to shop around yourself.
Can I trust that these specialists are properly qualified and covered?
Yes. Every specialist on our books carries the right insurance and holds the certifications their work calls for, and we've watched how they operate over a good stretch of time. A number of them are DBS-checked and certified for fire damage and post-pest jobs.
